"Flash Forward"

When my husband I subscribed to HuluPlus, we found the show "Flash Forward" and although we've only seen a few episodes back in 2009, we decided it was finally time to see what we really missed.

Here to find out, it was only an entire season. It is, and was an entire entertaining season, only twenty two episodes, that were always leaving you hanging and wanting more. Very intriguing and worth every minute. But entirely upsetting because of the fact that it ended, and it could've continued.

So I decided to research why it ended, and the only thing I managed to learn when I went onto the Wikipedia web site, (which some care to argue about that site!) "Flash Forward" is based off the novel written by: Robert J. Sawyer. The show was created by: Brannon Braga and David S. Goyer. As I read on, "Flash Forward" managed to have extremely low ratings, which explained why it was cancelled.

Personally, my husband and I enjoyed the show. We looked forward as we watched it together. It was to us, extremely entertaining, and left us wanting more.

Personally, to us both, we give it five out five stars, and feel that it shouldn't have been cancelled!

Personally, Althought the show is not on TV anymore, you can view it on HuluPlus, and ABC.com. It's worth your viewing pleasure! Give it a try!

Thank you for dropping by!

"Orange is the New Black!"

Netflix is an amazing alternative to regular television. Unfortunately, I didn't truly learn this until recently. But now that I know, low and behold: I am a Netflix junky!

"Orange is the New Black" is a Netflix original series! It is produced by Jenji Kohan. This name may sound familiar if you have ever watched the TV show: "Weeds!" Because that is whom created that awesome show as well! Five stars and two thumbs up!

(Above is a photo for anyone who needs a reminder!)

The show "Orange is the New Black!" has everything you could ever want to see. Currently two seasons. Season two was "just released!" On June 6, 2014!

Personally, I couldn't help but binge watch this amazing show in a matter of two days! Thirteen episodes in Season two! And even new Characters!

This show, I give five out of five stars. It has everything you need and want to see, from sex, to drama, to crime, and even an inside look of the prison life style! Truly eye opening!

Here is a photo of Jenji Kohan producer of the wonderful shows: "Weeds" and "Orange is the New Black!"

And here is a photo of the "Real" Piper Kerman, who lived the real ordeal. Included in this photo is the "Character" Piper Chapman played by: Taylor Shilling! Two beautiful women!

This series truly enlightens you to Prison life, how it changes people, and how Crime continues within the Prison walls, even by the Officials themselves. However, don't label everyone, there are good people, and not everyone tries to, nor wants to change. As well, not every Prison official is a bad person as well, so please don't assume, with these Characters! Just watch closely, and learn!

Everyone within the Prison walls, including the officials, have a story to tell. Sometimes you will be quite shocked with things you will learn. Sometimes there will be characters that you will hate, and some that you will be rooting for and love!

I can tell you this much, once you get to the finale, you will be rooting on someone. Especially as she drives the van into a character that many of us love to hate! Yes, I'm smiling as I type this, because my husband and I screamed and clapped! Shame on us!

We so look forward to next Summer and Season three, already! This is an amazing show, that is a definite five star show! If you haven't watched it, you truly need to! It is well worth it! It is everything you will want and more! Check it out! Let me know what you think, in the comments section!

"House M.D."

I've been a proud follower and fan of the TV series "House" since the show began on November 16, 2004 with its pilot episode. Everyone remembers it, I'm certain, seeing Robin Tunney, who once famed us in the changing of her hair color by placing her hand in front of her face and lowering it from top to bottom, going from brown hair, to blonde: ta- da! And that Movie was; drumroll please: "The Craft!" And now here she is as a kindergarten teacher, and she is suddenly .... What? Perhaps speaking in tongues? No. The Children of course think it's funny, they are only five.

From this moment on, the show has everyone's attention, and is a hit. Choosing Hugh Laurie for the leading role, wise choice. Scruffy, yet sexy. Smart, and savvy and everything everyone needs to keep them a tune.

"House" survived 176 episodes, with the changing of many characters coming and going, as well as guest appearances; but the loyalty of the best friend saga, is faithful as ever between Dr. Gregory House played by the Brittish Film star Hugh Laurie and Dr. James Wilson played by Robert Sean Leonard. Both men have once loved, and dated the sexy Dr. Lisa Cuddy played by Lisa Edelstein, but at the end of Season 7, Cuddy didn't return to Season 8. And my honest opinion, with the way Season 7 went, I don't honestly think Cuddy was much into wanting to even "finish out" Season 7, but that's just how I took things. I personally didn't like the ending of Season 7 at all. I didn't find it thought out, nor well played.

The Television Series "House" was written by David Shore, all 176 episodes. He proudly created the series that we all know and love. And sadly, he also ended the show. Many of us, to this day, would've loved to continue watching the wit of Dr. House, and the pranks he and Dr. Wilson pull on one another are quite entertaining! (Where did you come up with them???!! LOL) many of times you have left us laughing, and many times with drop jaw, and again in pain for the patient.

I will say however; I feel that with each episode through out, you should've aired commercials about drug use. Why? Because Dr. House was constantly, up until the end of the show, promoting viocodin. Promoting it to the extent of overdosing and getting it illegally, and wrongfully. I don't care that he eventually went to jail, and that they mention from time to time that it's wrong. Commercials in between the show, needed to remind everyone,"This is drugs, and this is your brain on drugs!" With the frying of the egg. "Any questions?!" And tobacco free Florida, (or whatever state you're in, if your state has that kind of program like mine does!) forcing people to realize there are in fact places out there to get help, and that it's not that easy to get pills like Dr. House makes it out to be. I am highly against drug use, sorry, I will make a stand against it, this is just something I strongly believe in.

On a scale of 1 through 5 I give this show a four because of Season 7 and 8, I was not impressed with Cuddy dropping out, for whatever reason, and the end of Season 7, not to mention the whole Season 7 seems tarnished, rushed, and moody. Season 8 is iffy, I do like it once Wilson and House repair their friendship though. I also will not give it a 5 because of the continued Vicodin problem, though honest and truthful, it is the way of the World now of days, no I cannot do it, it's not me. And again, I am a loyal fan of the show, and dearly love Hugh Laurie, and one day hope to meet him!

I recommend this show to anyone above the age of 18, unless they are dealing with addictions.

"Scandal!"

One evening I was scrolling through Netflix, trying to find something interesting to watch. I usually prefer TV series, because you can just let the PlayStation run, and it will go from episode to episode on its own. It is also easier than waiting for the next episode next week, or hoping to remember to program your DVR, and that the cable or power won't cut out on the middle. On Netflix, basically, everything is just much easier. And typically I prefer shows with five or more Seasons. But this time, I came across "Scandal" and I had been seeing the previews, the commercials and what not; but it always ran across from my shows. I recorded one, but sometimes watched another. I have Brighthouse which only allows you to record two shows at a time; unless you are subscribed to a higher costing DVR unit, which I'm not doing. And whence you record two, you must watch one of them, lame yes.

Anyway. So I decided to give "Scandal" it's chance now that I had my own time on my hands.

I watched the first episode alone. It more or less recruited Quinn Perkins, played by Katie Lowes, who she thought she was on a date, which kind of seemed confusing and rushed. Her date; or should I say the person sent to hire her, on behalf of "Olivia Pope" which when the name is said to everyone seems like the name of a God; is Harrison Wright played by Columbus Short. Quinn, still seems uncertain and wanting to get away, of course, up until Harrison mentions the name "Olivia Pope." Now her tune has changed.

I managed to notice that the producer of said series is Shonda Rhimes, which in itself; did not impress me. I used to like "Greys Anatomy" up until it became too whinny when the character Meredith said, and I quote: "Love me, choose me..." That episode right there, I was out. Now "Private Practice" on the other hand I found much better. But still, a little whinny for my taste there with the love triangles, sorry just my opinion.

This is a photo of the very beautiful Shonda Rhimes. She has three Children and was born in Chicago, Illinois, for those who may be interested. And in my honest opinion, "Scandal" is her best work yet!

Now, allow me to continue back on track with the TV Series "Scandal!" Season one, episode two, my husband came home from work, and sat down and watched it with me. Now mind you, he is picky with TV shows. If it doesn't suit his needs, he will walk away, or fall asleep. Period!

Nope, after watching episode two, he asks me, "You're gonna watch another aren't you?" I looked at him, and the time, and said, "But you gotta get up in the morning and it's late!" He responds with: "Just one more!" He did this to me three more times until finally at 3:35 am I put my foot down. "There's tomorrow!" I said. "But you'll watch some while I'm at work!" He complained.

Needless to say, we became addicted to the show. It has politics, crime, sex, you name it. It even has mystery. And once you think you have it figured out, trust me. You're sadly wrong. I promise you, you're wrong.

I posted on Twitter, as I logged in with what was once called "Get Glue" the application that used to send out stickers, that quit, and then became "TV Tag" that I couldn't understand why Olivia Pope played by Kerry Washington would actually "think" let alone wait on a "married" President to make her dreams come true in Vermont and make jam, when Jake played by Scott Foley is sexy and single! (again, my opinion!)

You compare the two, I can make it easy on you:

Now, do a pro and con list. You know, one is married, one is single. Go ahead. Pretend this is real life, and see what you come up with!

Ok, now again let me continue on with the "Scandal" there are a few things that upset me, but I agree, and understand it was of course the story line. I cannot believe Millie, played by Ballamy Young; the Presidents wife kept under hat the whole time up until darn near the end, that her Father-In-Law had raped her. That is something traumatic and hard to cope with. It was very touching to learn that the new Vice President (to be) Andrew played by Jon Tenney was at least sort of there to comfort (and save her!) from an would be suicide.

Also watching "Scandal" although it is just a TV Series, you can't help but wonder about "things" such as B6-13. I mean all through life we've heard about "secret soldiers" and how the Government and the Military trains our people. We all are curious one way or another. We have Area 51, secret societies, codes, you name it. You know for a fact, the Government and the Military does in fact have things they keep from us, as well as their own President.

All in all, I give this show an A plus and five out of five stars. I will gladly watch it again and again. It was very entertaining, and I was very upset to see it end. But in all honesty, I was glad to see Olivia choose Jake, and I totally agree: she was and is, the "Scandal!"

I suggest you check this series out, and give it a whirl. I think you will be glad I suggested it to you. There is something new and entertaining in every episode, I promise you that!
