Lightman created a business and calls it "The Lightman Group". Here they read people, their faces and actions, and decide whether or not if your lying, or hiding something. Agencies such as the FBI, local law enforcement and even Attorneys hire them to bring out the truth in people, and even solve murders. The group use tactics such as micro expressions, even psychology, as well as body language, facial recognition and more.
When the show originally aired, I unfortunately didn't have a DVR or anything to record it with, so if it was on, I had to hope to be lucky enough to catch it.
I found the show, then~not only educational! but entertaining. The guest stars on the show; they were also what made the show enticing to say the least.
Recently I subscribed to Netflix and started watching "Lie to Me" again. I started from the Begining and just kept watching. I never knew when it ended, I just knew it did.
But three Seasons? Come on! This is a show that could've and should've been kept on the air. What's the matter?! Were we the people learning too much from the show? Maybe....
It's always the good shows that get cancelled....face it!
The show ended: January 31, 2011.
Characters include:
Dr. Gillian Foster (Second in charge under Cal) played by Kelli Williams
Eli Loker (does he ever get paid again?!) played by Brendan Hines
Ria Torres (Ex TSA baggage inspector) played by Monica Raymund
Emily Lightman (Cal's daughter & World!) played by Hayley McFarland
Zoe Landau (Cal's Ex Wife & Mother to his Daughter!) played by Jennifer Beals
Ben Reynolds (FBI & then on Lightman's payroll) played by Mekhi Phifer
This is what I think of the show ending. The facial expression above. I'm angry. However, the ratings I give this show, five stars. I think this show is and was amazing. You will like it, enjoy it and be drawn in. The stories are touching, heart felt and meaningful. Like I said, you'll even learn a lot.
Watch it. You'll learn something, and be glad you did at the same time.... Until the show ends. Then you'll be upset....then your face will do this at the end:
